Located in the west coast of Italy, the region Lazio offers great conditions for soaring above the huge rocky landscape and old stone villages. In the autumn there are still gentle temperatures with thermal activity, which give you good opportunity for XC flights. All flying sites are situated 50 km south from Roma. We will be staying in beautiful village Sermoneta in a friendly, fully equipped hotel, which was originally a stone convent. A Nice pub is also nearby. Close to our location is Mount Vesuvius and UNESCO World Heritage Site Pompeii, an old Roman city, which was completely buried on 24 August, 79 AD by the volcano’s eruption. A trip to Rome is also possible.

Come and join us on our trip to still sunny Italy, along with good flying and traditional great Italian cuisine.
